The prototype is created with HTML, JavaScript and Google Charts. For using these tools we created an exporter from our custom simulation and exploration software to JavaScript. The visualization is currently static since we concentrated on building the basic infrastructure. Still, new visualizations can be programmed quickly. However, it will be a challenge to define an intuitive graphical user interface for editing them.
If you are interested to contribute feel free to contact us! The prototype is basically just a dump of an idea that I had in mind for some time now. But I guess there is potential for this kind of tool on the market.
